Lauren Hope Hesano (previously Fenton)
has been a professional musician in the Detroit
metropolitan area beginning in the early 1990’s. Her
musical training began at a young age with an emphasis on
piano and string instruments. Hope subsequently began
studying harp and ultimately earned a Bachelors Degree in
Music Education. In addition to her formal position at
Music By Hope, she remains active as a harpist, cellist,
and pianist by regularly performing at wedding ceremonies,
receptions, fundraisers, memorial services, corporate
functions and other memorable events. Hope performs
throughout Michigan and the surrounding areas where fine
live musical performance is the order of the day. She is
also currently a musician on staff at her church where she
accompanies the chancel choir and directs vocal groups.
In addition to fine musical performance, Hope specializes
in the coordination of music and musicians for your special
event. Her unique ability to guide and assist clients in
their music planning sets her apart from her
contemporaries. Hope is honored to be part of the rich
musical tradition of her home region.
Deb
North
From an early age, Deb North showed great
musical talent . While completing her formal education, she
was active in musical theater and cabaret. She has since
performed across the United States and throughout Europe.
Having begun her professional singing career recording
commercial jingles, she has since performed as a soloist
and lead vocalist.. Deb’s vocal styling includes classical,
jazz, gospel, standards and contemporary music. Deb is the
lead female vocalist for Sound Alternative and is available
for duets or as a soloist through Music By Hope.

Rebecca
Smith
Rebecca Smith is a well established
Detroit area musician with over two decades of performance
experience. In addition to her special event experience,
Rebecca has a degree in Music Education with an emphasis in
Piano and Vocal music. She is a full time music teacher and
is honored to have an ongoing commitment as a church
organist. Rebecca is available through Music By Hope as a
pianist, organist, or formal occasion vocalist.

Andrew
Toering
Andrew Toering is currently a cellist
with the Macomb Symphony Orchestra. Also a Music Education
student at Wayne State University, Andrew studies both
cello and euphonium. He previously attended Calvin College
and was a member of the orchestra, band, and Collegium
Musicum. Andrew started his musical training at an early
age and has grown into a mature and sensitive musician
well-versed in a variety of styles ranging from classical
to popular. Andrew is available through Music By Hope as a
cellist or bassist and he is also a member of the Music By
Hope string quartet.
Erin
Ginger
Erin Ginger is a diverse vocalist with an
impressive resume. While earning her vocal performance
degree at the University of Michigan, Erin played lead
roles in both musical theater and opera productions. She
was also a member of the prestigious U of M Orpheous
Singers and vocally contributed on a Grammy Award winning
album. Her varied styles include classical, folk, and jazz.
Her talent has been displayed at many public and private
events where Erin typically performs solo or as part of a
duet.
